this week has been a one with many rounds of increased heartbeat, relieved sighs and nervous moments =/ yeap, after common tests there comes the inevitable results.

i have to say this round of examination outcome has really been god's grace and pleasant surprises! (:

andandand i realised ive been hooked on HK drama, clique should know xD and i recall how my brother and i watched "a kindred spirit" or zhen1 qing2 every mon-fri at 7pm during our primary school days and i just found out it's 1,128 episodes long! like zomg, it actly followed me for 4 years of my life! (: and forensic heroes 1 and 2 is like super good too! oh gosh i really should snap out of the aimless holiday mood real soon! with common tests and results out, it's really a wake-up call to start studying again and getting busy!

don't think that'll be a problem though, with JHSC EXCO interviews starting tmr, all the best to the dearest year 3s!

it's been time immemorial since i last blogged! ages since this space was even touched and i guess with the increasingly fast-pace of life and the need to do a thousand other things, blogging became relatively unimportant! ><

holidays have been unproductive to the max! but mugging sessions with mint have resumed, as have previous years! where the cartel days are back but with more alternatives like nlb, teadot @ iluma and so on (: though such "mugging" sessions turn into anything but studying :( oh sigh! things will go right when the time comes huh!

and i seriously think me, friend and mugging equates to celebrity fate or something! been knocking into celebs EVERY SINGLE MUGGING SESSION!

first was at cartel where mint and i saw cassandra see, this outphased celeb haha! and we were like nonchalant about it since she's hardly known anymore

then at bras basah we met mark lee! and we were like omg it's getting better

and ytd when mugging with fel, we saw taypinghui! hahahaha and i was like calling mint and telling her toldcha it'd get better HEH!

tuition ended at bout 1030 at night and caught a ride back and it was the most entertaining ride ever! with the 30k sound system, 200k sports car, what else would you expect -.- but the sound system seriously spooked me out a lil, esp since it's surround and all and raymond had to play some car crash movie while speeding super fast i seriously thought the car beside us crashed -.- oh well!

guess the hols are gonna be spent with more mugging, slacking + guilt and just enjoying the slightly slower pace of life (:

and cant wait for daddy to be back after 1.5months travelling europe!

coupe cheesecake

have no idea why but have been craving for desserts without fail after every meal! and trip to bakerzin @ vivo with parents was really good! feels grreeeeaaattt to be able loads without having to care about being broke xD heh! & it's good to have made the parents fall in love with the sweet treats so there's no problem convincing them to keep going back for more!

am totally headoverheels with the coupe cheesecake! too bad the striked off the tapas and the desserts no longer come in nice, tiny, minute portions where you can have a whole variety at one go, instead everything's normal sized now! but still, coupe cheesecake ftw (: love the biscuit, creamcheese icecream and all! super good combination topped off with raspberry, strawberry and what not! heavenly :D

anyway! CG @ tzelin's house was great! nice spaghetti + klsp (kim's legendary shepherd pie) which was really quite nice despite all our teasing about it (: watched passion of christ but i didnt get to stay for the entire thing! was really glad i made it though :D combined cg!

combined service @ suntec today was awesome! loads of praise and worship (: and the testimony by the couple left us in tears! :( had a fab afternoon with god! eastereastereaster! :D:D:D:D:D

clique outing to celebrate mint's bday was a success! ordered super lots of jap food (JAP BUFFET!) before catching confessions of a shopaholic, what an apt movie haha! and then heading to havaianas where mint and lich bought 4 pairs of flipflops altgt! and we were totally throwing face cause we surprised mint with brownie and clara with icecream and sang the song twice in the NUM shop with everyone staring xD haha! and ended off with yummy desert at nydc! april's fools eve, stayed back with councillors to carry out the prank designed by house comm and moved all the tables and benches till the arms were aching! but attendance was super good and it was nice to work, laugh with everyone together! :D

and school's been really tiring, but am still hanging in there. and what raymond said to us just makes us all tempted to throw everything off and study. just study. honestly admire his determination! & at the same time, fear that i dont have what it takes for college. but shall just let life flow and have faith.

& am super surprised ytd's incident had no effect on me at all. zilch.
1 year back i think i'd have reacted differently, but 1 year later,
all i could hear was God's words
that chasing all these were nothing, because

today's school declared holiday in celebration of A level results was one earned by the seniors, and a very neccessary one indeed! everyone's been piled up, squeezed dry of energy that this holiday is fitted in aptly to be a breather, one that is super needed!

and with tmr, term 1 ends, really fast super freaky. it's been 3 months into JC and before we know it, we'd be the ones streaming out of the auditorium, results in hands, tears of joy or disappointment, facing the prospects of laying out our future! it's really scary if u think about it =/

oh well, gotta deal with whatever life throws at you i guess. anyway holiday will be spent with shirlene soh and socratic discussion and council matters and homework. sounds cheery much.

SHSC EXCO (: sans shiying!

service today was good, and i needed it! really wanted to praise God, for the week, for everything. He kept me going and today during p&w, really sang my hearts out for SaviourKing! and prayed, for guidance, for strength. i asked, He answered, through various means and ways (: and time spent with family CG was nice and warm too! (: and talk with kim was super nice too! made me feel like a part of the family, really sweet and i really want to commit myself to Him!!

anyway, attempted to mug chem and econs in btw free time or travelling and ended up having bits and pieces of information which got into my head (or at least i hope i rmr what ive read). week 10's gonna be really crazy and packed, with tests and council matters. & im really convinced march hols is a hols too short to get a proper breather, can already see it filled to the brim already, and i sincerely honestly feel the need for a break before term 2 embarks on a mindboggling super intense journey all the way up to common tests + ISAC's ASEAN SUMMIT. sometimes there is this urge to split myself into 5! to get more than 24 hours a day!

oh well, it's 2.24am and i think im gonna end up being half-alive when i meet shir tmr at 10am (GAH) at national library in an attempt to get history readings =/ and i wonder how im gonna finish mastering the art of mole and redox by tmr AND still get market system, demand supply for econs AS WELL AS to get the hang of GP paper 2.

the only answer to that i guess, is to pray.
cause only God can do the impossible.

& He wants me to learn
to seek assurance in Him alone
& it's to make me stronger girl.

life's been pretty good still though, god's been close, super close (:

& it's funny how i used to be a control freak and now with all that's happening, instead of feeling stressed out, i actually feel strengthened. the power of god (:

school's been crazily packed with information, it's content-overload! but i think compared to the science students, us half here half there people have little right to complain, especially with the absecence of biology in our timetables (: anyhow, with friends and all close by, lectures and tutorials have been survivable, and with lecturers with wacky sense of humour, it's not that hard to be entertained every now and then xD

meetings' aplenty though, with free periods booked and chopped for different purposes, and met ms aw after school today for investiture discussion and ended up having a theraputic friday afternoon doing XX work hahaha! the invites ended up looking so classy i wish i was from another school so i can have one of it! (:

exco dinner after school was super good too! everyone was there sans shiying but it was a good mix of fun and work (: went super nuts at fountain of wealth, i think everyone was amused with the 11 of us dancing singing to tunes of MY HEART WILL GO ON and IM YOURS (: hahaha super crazy bunch! super fun :D:D:D and we didnt realised time zoomed past and our meeting ended at near 11pm! LOL, great kickstart (: friday nights shall be regular huh!

okay zombie-fying now, gotta go catch some sleep befor ISAC bright and early tmr!

so today was house elections :D albeit the short and pretty low campaign week for house elections, i must say all the house candidates were really impressive. not just because of their ideas, energy but i was particularly touched by their sincerity and the heart they have for their own houses. that eagerness to do something, that warmth they gave out :D so regardless of the results today, i think all candidates ran a good race :)

congratulations to CANDICE for winning KIRIN HOUSE CAPTAIN :)) and ASHLEY for scoring VICE CAPTAIN :D the two lovelies who'd be leading kirin :D:D:D and not forgetting chaoyuan siyuan chak chirstopher shiying ben zhang, who'd be leading their houses in the year to come!

and elections will formally end tmr with the election of HOD/AHOD into office =) can't wait for council to form properly! super proud of all SHSCs so far, committed and energetic, super dynamic people! and are all on task for investiture so far, items and video people!

every step feels like a leap, a leap of faith

i'm not gonna hide the fact, that it's tiring, it's been busy and it's been chewing on the already-running-low energy level. each day comes in a set of 24hours, and everyday feels shortchanged, like it should have been longer, like 24hours is not adequate.

and each day is a struggle, a constant battle to stay focused, to stay true, to stay determined, and most importantly to stay faithful.

faith is the only drive now, the only thing keeping me going. the knowledge that every obstacle, every difficulty has been strategically placed by God above to strengthen me, to make me learn and with every obstacle placed, God places help, places strength, He instills courage, encouragements.

& im thankful, i Praise Him. for letting me see, letting me know, that some people are in my life for a reason. and i thank Him for tlc, for sophia, and for zz. because i know they are in my life for a reason, to motivate, to keep me close to Him. and when im down, when im losing faith, running out of courage and drive, these people keep me going, God keeps me running this journey.

today was bad, full of doubts, full of anxiety, full of apprehension and full of disappointments (NOTHING TO DO WITH CAMPAIGNS!), just down but thankfully for tlc & zz. one phonecall made all the difference. the tone, the support, the care & concern. it came from above.

spent almost the whole day in school for JHSC investiture rehearsal, history is super screwed! anyway on another note, friday was good, super good (:

day started with nice announcement by weijie and samantha! haha sports update- noose style :D haha the idea of sports announcement just popped into my head thurs night, and after permissions and clarifications, weijie and sam were on podium doing funny sports update! haha good job you two :) watch out for alisa and alicia on monday! haha the sw-hopefuls (:

school was alright, albeit the long lectures, some funny, some less humourous. and fire alarm during maths lecture gave all of us a needed breather! cartel date with tlc after school! haha mr tantuigee gave us a lift to siglap :D saved us the cabfare! supp to mug history but ended up catching up most of the time, squeezing in some time in btw bread and food to study! :D

went off to join family for dinner, and passing mint's notes to her brother in btw. and went home attempted to study but ended up in msn convos LOL. and a phone call to sophia late at night really did assure us much more, and brought smiles with the knowledge of God with us, and how we are growing in His prescence.

sometimes, i really thank the obstacles, the situations i find myself caught in, because i know it's God at work, helping me grow and strengthen with Him. and the entire council journey so far (few weeks only) has alrdy made me grow closer to God dearest by leaps and bounds. the whole plan is amazing, to put me through this, and have faith, God is amazing.

and He put tlc in my life, so that i'd be put in sophia's life (:

& with that we children of God, can be at peace, can be assured, because we know,
with God, we have nothing to fear.

these few days have been packed to the brim it's been nuts! on hindsight, life during campaigning seem quite free now. and if you're wondering wassup with the whole history "on hindsight" jargon, it's probably due to the crazy rushing and competing with time (and the closing of eyelids) to complete the essay due on saturday, 2359!

been weighed down by loads of things, political, interpersonal and such and hardly has any time left to sit down and breathe, much less to blog! but with chem quiz striked off the list today and history essay almost completed, there's bout a teeny weeny bit of time left today :D

and today's been fantastic! with CG over at kiatshings (: super good! especially testimony sharing, it really reminds us how God is here at every point of our life and how awesome daddydearest is! blessing and embracing us all the time! :D and CG really feels like a warm family, where no one judges and where you can really feel the warmth and feel everyone embracing you and more importantly, feel God's prescence! and walk with God has been super good, especially during campaign and all and i want to get closer with each day and just praise Him and rely on Him and put everything in His hands for Him to control :)

crossing the finish line with God close by

with the EP campaigning and me being elected as the 3rd Executive President of Student Council, the campaigning journey has officially ended for me. and with bootcamp over, the 32 of us has taken our first breath of being in council proper.

the two continuous campaigns (SHSC & EP) has worn me out alot, with days leaving school at unearthly hour of 8plus 9 and reaching home so tired there's hardly any energy left for schoolwork, with every minute and second of free periods and breaks doing campaign stuffs that dinner becomes the only meal and stepping out of my comfort zone, the campaign has indeed been stressful and frankly, pretty intimidating.

but with it ending, i find myself taking a lot away from it, things that cannot be described in words, like stronger friendship, stronger house spirit and leadership awareness and other more concrete things like learning how to handle suggestions and etc.

so with myself being elected as the EP and the other 31 members being welcomed today, the 3rd Senior High Student Council is now formally formed and ready to serve the school.

and having with us 39days till investiture and 39days to learn the rope from our dearest seniors.

& with that, i'd really wanna say im super super grateful for every single vote anyone cast for me :D honestly awes me and i'd do my best, nothing short of the best!

so today was 22 DAY :D where the 5C22 and our senior class 6C22 ate tgt LOL (: but it was more retarded than meant to be due to the overly packed canteen and lack of seats :D but fun nonetheless (DUH), when the 22s combine, madness is ALWAYS expected (= and still convinced seniors are awesome! and the guys were so funny when they got the extra chair AND picked up buy food skills from shermaine HEHE, damn hilarious!

timetable pretty packed today, alternate tutorials and lectures but GP lecture was probably the most AWAKE one with least number of people attempting to stay awake, funny lecture :D tmr's timetable's total opposite with 2hours free to start the day with LOL.

second day at school was definitely much more packed and exhausting! lesser free periods today (at least it feels less), and lesser means (only) 2 hours free heh! screwed up timetable! loads of lectures though + a weirdly amusing econs lesson where i became the "chosen one" -.- yeah 5C22 better get used to hearing E-C-O-N-S, econs econs is the best LOL. *sparks off enthusiasm and a wave of economics excitement*

gah and we didnt get the mr gilbert lee the seniors were talking bout, got mrs lee instead. GAHHHH! oh well, free period was spent swapping uniforms + doing homework HEH and our senior class (6c22) prob think we're muggers now cause they saw our class sitting in the canteen, heads buried in maths =/ LOL! can't wait for thursday though, our 22day (: still convinced we got the coolest senior class yet! with loads of really great OGLs + OC people :D:D

so school started proper today, super laidback and slack with buying of uniform during free period (: should seriously stop switching off in airconditioned auditorium and lecture theatres or i'd just flunk all the subjects since the bulk of lessons are lectures =/

the whole hooha bout uniform was damn funny too, the sizes and all xD and mass pe was alright (: just that my super sunburnt face started to have stinging sensation when the sweat came trickling down and everyone thinks my forehead is freaky and diseased LOL! and my worse nightmare just began cause the scalp started peeling and now i look like i have dandruff greeeeaatt =/ remind me of the times lich got so fascinated with the skin from my scalp dropping down after i got sunburnt from sc camp cause the skin had holes which the hair grow out from HEH :D

and lessons end damn late thanks to incessant free periods GAHHH but i guess others have more screwed up timetable i should just keep quiet xD

senior high orientation was a 5day long affair with much shoutings, screamings and skin peeling off our chaotah sunburnt faces and really short nights followed by really long days but i guess it all boils down to much time spent with new found classmates + seniors and a whole bunch of fun (:

and i guess what mr sng said on the first day bout orientation being as fun as we allow it to be made loads of sense :D it was really an orientation where we all had to make as much fun out of it as possible, with mad dancing (towards last day) and crazy house spirit!

K1 turned out to be a ton of madness topped with spirit, winning 31-legged race CHAMPS on the first day! and up-ing the house spirit to an all-high! it was seriously super cool to have your house peers and seniors being on all 4 storeys around you cheering KIRIN SURE WIN (: zhixin's lucky cheer really did pour some luck on us as we bagged the first champion points for kirin!

and day 2 dragonboating started our with a long walk which sparked us all on whines and complains but i guess it was fun in it's own way, teasing candice bout her idol (LOL) and just laughing at the randomness-est things ever, not forgetting the comparison of bruises on our thighs!

dragonboating itself turned out super much better than expected! with really cool OGL seniors (sherm, audrey, nat and yuhong) teaching us timings + how to splash others! and our instructor teaching us how to form allies and how to break them (: and us telling her we aiming blue ppl LOL oops! and 5C22 won first for dragon boating! each time we wanted to just stop cause our hands were dying on us, the voices of yuhong (BU YAO FANG QI) would be ringing and somehow the countings (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) got louder (= and although some ppl resorted to counting alt. numbers (2,4,6 LOL) quote sophia (HEHE) we still made it :D:D CHAMPSSSS :D:D

OG interaction was super gay and fun playing the lamest but funniest games ever! hehe incoherent but true! and telematch thereafter was just weird. and seeing the other 3 houses ganging up against us prob made us more bonded as kirin LOL. somehow.

went home super tired, super shacked.

day 3 started off really wet with us in zhengxinyuan while seniors threw water bombs + buckets of water at us from all around at diff floors =/ haha and the kirins got really wet! and we then embarked on an HOUR LONG walk to ecp -.- where the first game triggered some conflicts with 3 houses against us. and generally the ecp games didnt really work out but i guess the effort could really be seen (:

katong swimming complex games were like a hundred and seven times better and water polo was hilariously funny! YAY to kirin for bagging 2nd (: and a whole lot of 1st and 2nd and 3rds the entire day (: YAY to us :D:D

and all thanks to super nice OGLs (the bestest) we got to bathe earlier and got clean before OG dinner :D which was damn fun! PASTAMANIA and comparing kindergartens LOL. the soph and mint going mad bout kinderland and their longlost childhood memories -.- haha! and going to cold storage and finding out how mad + lame 5C22 really was with YUTSE stealing stirrers as class identity -.- and the guys with their NATURALS LOL!

OGLs bought donuts for all of us (: and we had a short but sweet celebration to the birth of 5C22! and every 22nd of the month shall be 5/6 C22 DAY YAYAYAYAYA!

bus trip back had lots of tears, from excessive laughing! hahaha me and simin were like going nuts teasing sean and jason bout "naturals" LOL! funniest bus ride EVER! and yuhong kept scaring us bout cluedo -.- and we realised he really looks like joker from batman heh!

cluedo itself was pretty bland for my group, but prob cause we got the less scary stations while the rest got the more mindwrecking ones (: slept through chucky (twice) and skipped puzzle station, thanks to super cool ogls! HEH!

and went to sleep at an unearthly hour of 3am.

woke up for flagraising with all of them zombi-fied but i was super high and laughing at our new found best friend with POS LOL. deranged yuzhu much!

house interaction was super fun for kirin! with much attempts to strip ppl and the craziest dog&bone ever! hehehe and all sorts of nonsense which made us laughing non-stop!

pacmonster was cut short (thank goodness) and they slotted in 1hourplus for us to slack (: before finale night kicked in and we had a whole night of spontaneity and laughter and loud cheers! and our whole batch was so super ON for everything, specially the mad games, it felt like JC, like really JC for awhile, with the mad couple games! hahaha (: love our batch! and we all agree kirin is bursting with dance cells (:

and had initiation in the hall where i got lots of encounters with hot wax LOL. and we broke off into our houses for HOUSE INITIATION! (: KIRIN ONE WAS ULTIMATE BEST!

it was like the HIGHLIGHT of the whole camp! we had bamboo dance, make wishes before the house comm poured glitter on our heads and painted our faces to symbolise that we're now officially a member of the kirin member, or like what ray would have said, a true kirinMON who has undergone evolution LOL (:

and we all sat in a spiral and when everyone was done, zhixin, ray, eugene stood at the start of the spiral while we all lie down and made wishes while looking at the stars above us in zhengxinyuan, calling to the mytical unicorns (: super sweet and awwww.... and we all learnt the kirin war dance which was damndamndamn cool and nice to do! and kirin had phototaking before going off to bed (: and agreeing to wake up earlier than the rest to play sparklers!

last day started off with sparkly fun with sparklers (: before doing mass dance and algorithm dance! which we learnt before pacmonster! super funny to see the OC guys to algo dance cause they look hilarious! hahaha and we're all addicted to it! massdance was super cool too (:

and closing ceremony thereafter where KIRIN GOT CHAMPION HOUSE! all hail the unicorns YAY! :D plus K1 got CHAMPION OG (: cheers to us!

and after mr sng's speech and all we just sat around stoning and talking to our ogls and had 5C22 + 6C22 PHOTO (: super cool senior class seriously! can expect loads of fun coming from the 2 gens of twentytwos :D:D CANT WAIT FOR 22nd JAN!

so that rounds off orientation (: now it's time for the maths and what not to kick in!
and anticipate the coming of CNY :D

met cho after a looonnggg day(s) at 4K chalet and we headed down to marina square to visit her friend yihhsin (sp?) at her last day of work! haha we shared this super small pizza (save money!) and wanted to order dessert but the flavour was outta stock or something so in the end she gave us FIVE complimentay scoop of another flavour LOL. me and cho were like OMG-ish the whole time through. damn funny! pics on cho's blog! :D

went to school afterthat to see the year 1 orientation concert (: deco was super pretty but not all handmade so i guess that takes up half the fun! but with 11k budget i wouldnt be super hands on either xD hehe. the highlight of the night was prob the part i went damn high, like seriously, must be the aftereffect of sleeping only 1hour the night before! rachel yanlin liangwei weijie etc were all staring and laughing at me =/ embarrassing! and going crazy with shanisca etc (MINI TOONS LOL)! omg i was like the highest ever xD gaahhhh! throw face lah! and singing songs at the bus stop and yo-ing my life away and camwhoring with florence and songshan (juniors whom i hardly know) LOL they must think im madddd =/ eeek!

anyway missyeo came to sit with us for awhile and we all agree the concert was intellectual LOL and we told her bout the paid-balloons and she was like I WOULD HAVE MADE YOU ALL BLOW ONE BY ONE. haha yeah totally! brings back the good old days where we handpainted 5 banners or so xD but these hand-on days really create much more memories (:

zonked. to the very last extreme of the word. just back from 4K chalet and had like prob a few winks of sleep, okay maybe more but definitely not adequate =/

met the class at tanah merah before boarding the shuttle to NSRCC. but it got filled up before the 6 of us could fit in so we cabbed down to meet the rest.

set up the stuffs while the guys started fire and bbq-ed the night away! and OMG! i finally bbq-ed proper LOL. watched channel8 random shows before playing little miss sunshine, some intellectual movie which bored us a little (SORRY JOLYN!) haha and we decided to move on to MAHJONG. and omg me and jolyn were on like some winning streak or something! :) super fun!

the class then gathered after everyone who couldnt stay left and the 17 of us played polar bear! haha damn fun lah! :D imma GOOD POLARBEAR okay! cause me and jiamin wonnnnnnn when we were polarbears :) LOL played till like 2plus AM before playing survivor and i got voted as the first one to get married or something. haha how queer xD

got a little stoney and bored at bout 3am plus so we decided to walk to ECP (: walked with ra at the back of the group and spilt soooo many things between us, stuffs that NO ONE ELSE will prob ever know (: and made me think of some stuffs which i seriously thought i left behind =/ anyway we reached some jetty and they started to tell ghostly stuffs while me ra anthea jiamin and jolyn the scared bunch played songs and sing to them at another corner in an attempt to block out all weird stories.

and we all got hungry by 4plus so we walked back to NSRCC and forgo the whole sunrise thing HEH. some ppl conked out while the rest of us stoned a bit before watching sky of love with sihui making remarks tht spoilt the whole lovey mood LOL :) hahaha and more ppl gave up and went up to sleep (: ordered macs at 5plus and it came at 620 when it's supp to come at 720. and we ordered so much food they had to send 2 delivery guys hehe! bathed before eating the bfast (: and finally conked out at 7plus, waking up at intervals like 8 and so on. so didnt really sleep. and apparently i was the only one who slept on chairs throughout other than the guys and maybe fel LOL. but i guess movie marathons (2 years of it) and all really trained my stamina of taking really short naps and feeling energetic through the entire night!

packed and left the chalet and THEY WAIVED THE FEE SO WE STAYED FOR FREE. haha cause we booked 3D2N but the system screwed and indicated we book for jan 2008! lol so we had like 2D1N only and the club was prob paranoid that our parents would complain since we were members so they waived the fee. LOL the entire chalet + bbq cost 2bucks per person HEH. beat that!

couldnt get onto the shuttle afterthat cause it was full so we kinda just hung around till me melinda anthea and ra decided to cab!

super zonked now, like mentally or something cause i dont feel like SLEEPING =/ how weird! must be the endorphines :) or the 100min cycle weird theory we were discussing HAHA. meeting cho later to go marina for dessert before going to school for year1 orientation concert. still feeling a little apprehensive and hesistant but i guess as long as im sure im going to support the juniors and all, shall not think too much (:

headed to city hall bright and early with mummydearest ytd. and went to esprit and topshop and dorothy perkins before heading for lunch. haha we went out reminding ourselves of the promise of not buying anything for CNY cause we spent a bomb on clothes in america and and and we walked out of esprit (YES ESPRIT!), topshop and dorothy perkins NOT BUYING A SINGLE THING. hahaha (: lunched at out of the pan, the shop which daddy and bro dislikes cause they think the food portion is miserable -.- sigh...guys. LOL

rushed down to pasir ris after that while mummy stayed in vivo! met anthea, deborah and LUAJIAMIN before heading down to aranda for year1/2 class chalet! 2A'06 (: half expected like less than 10 to show up. i mean, it IS 2 years since we last went our seperate ways but NO! a whole huge group turned up! haha seriously, kinda forgot that we all loved 2A and still do (= had loads of fun laughing, teasing and just catching up! it's a real nice feeling knowing that all this time away hasnt really done much damage to the close bonds and ties! :D

dinner-ed at some JUST ACIA (yes it's spelt ACIA -.-) place which serves less-than-satisfactory food but the guys wanted to eat there so that they could pig out on the freeflow icecream and drinks LOL and we girls ended up stuffing ourselves silly with icecream to earn back on the lousy oily food xD LOL.

me and an had to leave early to head to raymond's so we left :( but tht short stay there really made me realise how wonderful and awesome it is to have friends that last forever! :D hehe! and we all love 2A dont we :) am already looking forward to next year 2A chalet! :D (HINT GRACE FONG, PLAN OKAY)

had year 4 amazing race ytd and it was kinda tiring. started off not so smooth with cheong and i losing our teams in an attempt to find mint! LOL XD we make like the blurest three sfs tgt! prob why they lumped us all in one group, they shouldve known we are super blur and lost at times =/

the group- 4G 1 was super nice though, enthusiastic and bubbly (: and we were running round singapore and what not :D wasnt super fast in the end but wasnt the last either xD slacked around in auditorium while they collated the score and we started some random camwhore session on the stage xD cause we kinda realised half our year5 class- 5C22 was there and we took quite a lot of class pics (= haha making ppl like cho irritated HEHE. looking forward to orientation now cause 5C22 seem really fun and upbeat :D

had the year 3 xpedition today and it was pretty smooth i must say! highlight of the day was prob the playing with pepper sugar flour and what not! and tricking the sfs into thinking it's a bonus station but later smeared them all with the weird mix :D:D:D think me and eli went into the toilet like twenty times to get everything off ourselves (: and when the sfs started to return back to school we all started tricking everyone and ended up soaked in water. haha no thanks to clique! who emptied waterbottle worth of water on me =/ lol we really went mad going around making everyone sticky and wet :)

lunch with class and tried out the new food and we all agree the junior high kids are so blessed to have a canteen which offers jc-worth variety of food! :) talked and slacked around before heading home cause some wanted to attempt GP essay and others like me were simply tired out from the two days of orientation =)

okay, this seems to be the ONLY year 4 picture i have =/ haha nvm, we spammed alot today! met the year4councillors at cityhall/marina square and headed off to esplanade where the depts split up to do their farewell gifts to their dept juniors. and since the 3 of us presidentials had none we just hung around and helped them out + took pictures randomly. haha and i went off to write the msg on the back of the board, with one small grammar mistake xD should have known since i was doing it with cho (=

well played abit there, spammed pictures (LOL POWERRANGERS) and the guys played with the dustbin in order to pose for a shot. haha and they're apparently all SIXTEEN going on seventeen! hmm danced abit, sang (ALOT) and changed into the pretty year4 councillor shirt the few of us designed and paint! it was soooo pretty (: even the guys looked pretty in pink!

rushed down to the school and farewell started proper.

expected myself to bawl my hearts out and stuff during all the sentimental sharing and such but i didnt. like zilch, well of course i felt the whole AWWWW factor sink in and remembering the times we shared as a level, especially the older times with baojia, mabel etc but just didnt cry. even cho cried! prob got influenced by the whole "cry when ure down" thing. like farewell's more to remember the times and all. it's not like as if we'll all poof off into thin air tmr so didnt feel the need to cry the eyes swollen. BESIDES, it would so ruin the whole camwhore session thereafter (: heh.

and to think i cried like mad last year, uncontrollably! and at my own farewell i left with eyes dry! haha like what cherie did last year! haha cheers to the us :D:D and well i definitely would miss exco (ALOTALOT) and the entire year 4 cohort who stayed so close like superglue! and im just glad even ppl like ELI TAITAI and JINHUI stayed close till the end :D

hmm and missyeo left council too! we were all half-shocked. prob cause the thing came so suddent we didnt have time to react. she left with us :( but im sure her highness's legacy will definitely live on (:

juniors gave us the book with photos and notes and looking through it, realised the juniors really make up a hugeeee part of why council rocks our socks (: love you all! (and jessie, why do u nvr tag! i nvr knew u read this! tag okay!!)

oh well, so the chapter on council life is officially closed and we're out. but i guess the photos and memories will stay for a long time to come, not forgetting the friendship and bonds!

slept super late last night in an attempt to do the superlong picture post and staring at the pictures i realised i didnt really change much throughout the year, despite the exco guys saying the face became smaller or something -.- anyway! we're really into the last day of two-oh-oh-eight! and....... it feels like any other day. not much excitement and everyone's pretty down to doing their normal stuffs, save for those party-goers.

anyway! after yi'an's much pestering and stress-me-out, ive finally started on the commonwealth/gp essay! and after one paragraph into the essay smartme went to look around to see if i can find the word cap on the essay and i saw this: 1400-1750. who freaking writes 1400words on bullying! =/ so much for trying to complete the essay, those numbers totally threw me off lah! so went off to msn jolyn instead :D hehe and spark off a class outing after homecoming wooohoooo! :) can't wait to see the fellow muggers xD and some random musing bout how i nvr did add binghowe and melvin on msn led to me adding them on msn. which explains the weird tags on the tagboard. it's all them, except the last one about bh being the actor. haha that's another person's masterpiece =)

ooh IA xmas party was enjoyable too :D with IA-ians from 2005 all the way to 2009 =] met amanda for lunch before meeting up with weijie to grab shirts then liangwei came and we went to artfriend and popular to buy some stuffs. bought JCO donuts to bring and went to amanda house while liangwei and weijie went to weijie house to grab food + throw everything else down (: and a whole drama happened at amanda's house which included dog poop, climbingover, keys and panic. go figure xD then rushed to shaun's condo and partayed away :))

so 2009's really coming, this wednesday to be exact will be the veryvery last we see of 2008 and guess it's that time of the year again to do some thinking back and to make some resolutions for the upcoming year (: dont think many actually keep the resolutions close to heart throughout the year but i guess it does help in making one hopeful at the very least, for a better year ahead!

2008 has been a really packed year, filled with tons of emotions and events alike and going back to blog archive i found this really comprehensive sum up of 2007 i did. haha guess times have changed and so did i (= priorities swapped and life's much more different too.

shall just throw up whatever i can rmr bout 2008 (:

for a start, walk with god has definitely been so so much better, and ive really learnt to live more things in his hands. it's never easy, to put down all the thoughts, worries and doubts and to trust that god's plans are perfect. it takes amazing faith but im learning and god keeps me strong, stronger today than yesterday. and this whole year was filled with so much uncertainties, so much emotions that i'd have nvr been able to handle if not for amazing daddyking (: prayers really keep me going too and telling god everything seems to be like a release, like having the knowledge that he is there no matter is really reassuring! :) and arrow, here i come! youth ministry :D

next, i guess school life's been really nice this year too (: and clique has gotten super close as well! and we've kept each other sane amidst the mountain of tests and what not! and mugging last minute and skipping lessons for bday stuff and *coughs* tingxie which arent really tingxie, and chem tests which are so fun (right lichang!) and i guess bottom line, clique is love, absolutely! and tlccccc!!! =)

classmates have been awesome to the max too! like mypinkwishes priscilla tan! newfound table partner who goes crazy in class and is real fun to sit/study with! and pos! hosimin (: and genius yinchee and amandaleong! and fellykoo and the tons of people more! and not forgetting binghowe the rubbishbin partner who makes clearing the rubbish twice as complicated heh! and 4K's been godsent too, really really cool class :D which other class can have 20plus people skipping PE to do maths! okay thats not the point but still i love 4k and misstanjenfee! dont we all!

council has been a rollercoaster rides with all of us taking turns to breakdown =/ but it's been a tough learning journey with memories, much more memories than any other things (: exco's been the best company ever too! great support system! juniors are all super adorable bubbly and makes us all wanna hug and love them everyday! watching them grow, enjoy council and just learn the council way really makes the heart goes AWWWW :D i guess sc's been a ton closer this year and it really made me much stronger, both on the inside and outside. it's helped me learn so much bout people, emotions and all (: besides, with survivor kuala lipis, everyone has memories to last forever! hehe! albeit the tears and disappointment and anger, i guess the whole meaning of council and ohana is still pretty much etched in the heart.

besties cindyong yian pos-simin and ELI! are the closest coolest people ever too! the randomest yet closest people put together just makes us all really happy girls LOL (: and i nvr fail to feel really at ease and just be able to pour everything out with them! MUST MUST MUST have more astons + sakae in 2009 k! :D

the club of cynthia garybong jj and cheryl have been the funniest thing around! haha started all cause of sc chalet and the pretend to work but actually there to eat plan huh! (: STEAMBOAT PEOPLE, STEAMBOAT! haha =) the greatest juniors everrrrrr!

okay im tired of wrecking my brain to think of stuffs in 2008 xD more tmr! :D

shall take a short break from posting bout USA trips (:

anyway, late nights like these (2.13am) never fail to make me think off stuffs in life, like how time flies and we're done with junior high (that always scares me) or how in 2 years time this moment i might have to decide what i wanna do for life (that scares me too). and other more applicable things like whether or not i want senior high life to be a certain way, to take up stuffs or not and wondering if im really chewing off more than i can bite.

i guess the people always play a part, a huge part really. and looking through council pictures in a bid to send junjie those with him in it, i realised sc's really taken up a HUGE part of junior high, specially year 3 and 4 and i wonder what i might have missed out in class, being nvr really active, wondering what i missed out in the times i chose council over outings, gatherings. and as i thank God for a group of really understanding friends, i ask Him, where should i go next.

and if i really want senior high to be like this all over again, would i miss out on more stuff or simply gain much more memories to keep.

the pictures are evidence that life has indeed been colourful, but can things get better?

after manymany =/=/ hotels which left us all with the impression that america hardly has nice hotels, hotel triton in san francisco was like the HOPE (: nicenicenice and designer! plus it serves warm chocolate chip cookie which are delicious + redwine at night AND tea (a whole variety) and coffee in the morning and apples & oranges, free to grab all day round :D

FRESNO! california, this place we stopped over for one night on the way from vegas to san francisco! :) the whole place was super misty and foggy the morning after the one night stay and we all went mad taking pics, trying to blow out air! haha or rather blow smoke and being amused since we never get to do that in sunny island singapore :D

USA trip (: - LAS VEGAS, the city of lights and casinos (and smelly smoky rooms)

okay, so apparently all the singaporean tours were stuck at riviera, about the worst hotel you can get in vegas and trust me, singaporeans being singaporeans, everywhere we went we heard the "riviera very disgusting LEH, can't believe we are stuck here LAH, you see the other hotels so nice HOR, i thought we can get nicenice one also LEH, all im asking for is a nicer hotel, cannot MEH" and etc. haha poor riviera. but it really was a letdown, especially since it was surrounded by sooo many super nice hotels u can hardly imagine such grand hotels actually exist!

merry merry christmas!!

it's the festive seasons and everyone's drowning in the "merry xmas"-es sms and msn messages (: it's really quite nice how friends whom u hardly hear from rmrs to drop a warm christmas greeting and cheer! :D the season of greetings really do feels nice and it really is filled with love and care (= so MERRY XMAS EVERYONE! :D have a blessed christmas!

it's 1hour11mins into the day which SANTA CLAUS COMES TO TOWN WITH HIS RED-NOSED REINDEER and the neighbour(S) houses are all bursting with noises, shoutings and what not. happening parties' aplenty during xmas and new year and CNY have gotten me pretty accustomed to noises into the wee hours of 3am even! yes, crazy neighbours with ridiculously big houses equates to lots of room to have wild parties, and yes, alcohol too. but i guess they prob clean up well too cause by tmr morning, no one could've guessed there were at least 6 parties which happened. but now, the filled up streets with nice poshy and cool cars is really a giveaway to the kind of parties happening.

okay shall stop talking about the parties and sounding like i wish i was there (which i do actually, they sound full of fun)! today (xmas eve) was spent with GP dearest bright and early. okay, supposedly bright and early but we lazy queens ended up lazy to wake up and met 1hour45mins later than the stipulated time OOPS. had brunch and talked through LOADS of stuff :D and guess i more or less made up my mind (i think) hehe! for now la at least, but no one noes how the future's gonna be like!

rushed off to cityhall to meet year4councillors for outing cum cq bday (: and ended up stuck with ALL GUYS till rachel came. survived talking bout random things and OH siswo's back :D hehe, the trinity's complete at long last huh! rotted in macs doing idunnowhat, but talking made up most of it + smsing xjj :D hehe! steak dinner vs grilled fish eh?

anyway daddy came to pick me up! yay to that and went home to shower before going for dinner! everyone was lazy to go too far/ dress properly so we decided to pop by aston's for a simple and quick dinner! (:

and came back wanting to attempt GP essay but WHO DOES GP ESSAY ON BULLYING ON XMAS EVE?! ended up chatting with random peeps like jj, justinn and cjj. lol to the jjs. many many happenings and have been busy! ISAC meeting bout ASEAN summit was informally nice :) haha, expected it to be more serious/formal but everyone was nice and humourous! haha and the seniors, rebecca, sam and junwei were all super nice too, telling us about commontests, coping and jobscope! :D

year 3 orientation has been on full pace ahead too, with funny and wacky juniors (: every meeting's filled with wilson's panicking faces and expressions and what not, plus funny guys who has funny reactions when asked to do stuff and girls who endure the guys' funny tactics and what not =) really enjoyable! and msn chats bout school life and stuffs (=

but chatting with fel, weijie, yx and lw that other day bout everything and anything, ive really come to realised that life is full of regrets- both big and small. haha yeah, talking bout regrets with them really made me think of so many stuffs it's impossible to list out all, regrets in 4K, regrets with friends, regrets in council, regrets in almost everything! but still it was a nice 3hours chat atop esplanade, surrounded with smooching couples which forced us to stare into the skies to talk in order to avoid the visuals :D

and im back to the same question of running or not! gahh, 2months and ive not decided, goodjob girl. but ive never liked running! in all aspects, ask clara, she should noe, we walked through our PE lessons LOL. okay not THAT KIND of running. but still, there are soooo many thoughts and conflicting ideas! i need that gathering with baojia! oh yeah, saw baojia during ISAC (: can't wait to go out and just talk, laugh and do wdv we want! :D:D:D

super late now and engaging in lame chatter with felly koo at 2.02am! it's been a night full of chats with people ive not seen/talk to for quite some time like CHO JIAYAN and junjie (: and it's a nice feeling to be able to chat about everything and anything!

and working with the year3orientationcomm has been a really different experience, since they're not scs. but it's been a really nice one all the same, and there really is difference, can say they're more willing to learn, to change, to listen and the way they handle advice is way different. they have their own style of working and it really is interesting to see them work together :D and getting to know them better (: xpedition09 crew =]

trip to america was kinda fun & a nice break from the reality world of singapore, a subtle change which was filled with shopping + more shopping!

trip started with a loooonnnggg flight with a transit at tokyo narita airport then all the way to los angeles international airport (: weather in america was really good in LA, bout aircon temp, can even survive with a tee and long pants (=

day one started officially the day after we landed, with hollywood walk of fame as our first stop! everyone stopped at random stars to take pics of the names they recognised but i was like trying hard not to vomit over the stars so only took this one shot with the olsen twins!

will be catching the next plane heading for los angeles via japan soon :D am like blogging from the gold class lounge and am reminded of why travelling with daddy is sooo much more fun and privileges! like queuing at the kris flyer gold elite queue which is super short plus it comes with good service and nice seats allocation, luggages tagged priority followed by a gold class elite tag AND entrance to a lounge which boosts greeaaat food for breakfast and the countless computers to type on, like what im doing now!

beats having to walk through the duty free shops being drowned in perfume other than DKNY delicious!

haha im already starting to miss singapore and im only as far as the airport!

anyhow shall be a nice and elegant and class user and give up this computer before others think im another kiasu singaporean who has never ever used a computer xD

everything's about half-packed and im flying off tmr! no panic attacks yet but i guess it's cause of the assurance that i have everything i need, just not properly packed in and all!

daddy's back from abroad! :D thats kept me pretty happy these few days! haha :) been busy helping out the yr3orientation comm and it's kinda fun so far! haha the juniors are really cute and nice to work with and they kinda remind me bout the DHShine 07 comm, 2years back when we first started out ((: cant believe DHShine is in the third running year alrdy! (THAT REMINDS ME) we need our annual reunion dinner soon, yes?

haha and yeah i totally agree that we nvr seem to be out of planning for long! LOL now we're like back in action to do orientation once again and im not complaining!

ooh just had a chat with tlc and it was sooo good! feels like we havent talked for ages but it's been like few days actually! haha soo nice to have someone to spill everything to, get advice, give advice and just tell each other everything in life :D reminds oneself why God made friends!

anyway! junior tongwei was excitedly rambling bout the legendary leaders summit they just went and it made me think once/twice bout our very own legendary leaders summit. we had our fair share of tears and fun and of course, they met coach elgin + yvonne/evonne who were really nice to us when we attended the summit last year. can still vividly remember that day where the dhs scs junior and senior high sat tgt with coach elgin to share with him our problems + seek solutions tgt.

and it's so cool that we're still in touch with coach elgin and he's been a great help in many problems (:

oh well, back to rotting at home!

day out with besties/girlfriends was super fun as usual! no thanks to my dental we ended up not being able to go seoul gardens! but we still ended up with sushi at sakae buffet so i guess it's not that bad (:

grabbed miss tiong's wedding presents in the form of really nice helium balloons before going down to MPH to stone our time while waiting for the auspicious 3pm for buffet xD hehe had a fantabulously great time just talking bout our lives and chatting the time away :D

anyway miss tiong's wedding today was super sweet + funny! haha and she looked awesome in the dress :) pictures' with eli so will post when i get them!

AND i am nottttt that close to teachers, really! it's just some stuff in council require cooperation with the teachers so i appear to be talking to them! seriously, i have no idea why i have so many impressions of myself which are all untrue! like being serious, being with someone, and now being close to teachers.

slept at 4am ytd watching super random clips on tudou and didnt realise it was the wee hours of the morning!

prom mtg cancelled and free-ed up some time so spent the day clearing the entire room of the unneccessities (: super satisfying to throw out bags and bags of files/papers/random things! even found loads of primary school snippets which brought back a smile or two!

talking bout smiles, msn with junhao just made me smile real wide! hahahaha (: im saved from rumours! hehe :D

it's barely a week and i miss the USA people already! it's not a nice feeling knowing that half the confidantes are half way round the other end of the globe and while i have a strong feeling the internet's probably more reliable than that of the chinese continent BUT STILL, it doesnt match up to talking on the phone and i dont think the bills are gonna be pretty if we IDD.

and to add on, by the time they arrive in changi airport, i'd probably be packing my own suitcase ready for my own obama adventure in america, just that i'd be camping out in places like LA, LV and Sans frans. holidays are wayyyy too short.

just realised i forgot to mention how freaking big their bungalow is! it makes the other houses look like toys! the toilet is the size of MY ENTIRE ROOM (yes get that!) their guest room is about the size of an entire chalet and the no. of rooms is uncountable! and they have a pool on the 2nd level! and the whole house is just huge beyond words! but the whole family's like humble and nice you can hardly guess they are that rich!

went to an eight year old's birthday party ytd and reached home drunk. that sentence sounds so incoherent it doesnt even make sense but it's true! went to marian's aka mummy's rich friend's daughter's birthday party ytd :) the girl's really sweet and nice and not to forget, super pretty too so i didnt really mind going :D besides the house is to die for and i've never really been to a birthday party that sounds so elaborate. there was buffet, PERFORMANCES, pinata games and much more.

hung around with the adults cause i really didnt want to run around with the kids playing the games the party agency came up with and the people there were all so high class and taitai-ish it made me feel non-taitai. yes! so you can imagine, all the rich and high-flying people unite!

ate the buffet which was nicely laid out on the 2nd floor balcony cum garden and the balcony is overlooking their pool so it was super nice ambience :D and the house looks better than ever cause they on-ed all the lights and all (: cant rmr the exact flow of programme but there was the cut-cake ceremony and a little girl played on the violin happybday! super sweet! and we all had a generous slice of the icecream cake before it was own programme where there was karaoke, yeah they have a KARAOKE LOUNGE that functions just like KBOX with surround system + flatscreen tv! =/ life of the rich... or you could choose to jump into the pool (yes at 10pm thats possible) like the kids did or choose to network and socialize with the elites at one of the 5-9 guests areas/ common places. mumsie and i went karaoke with the relatives (: who were super nice and you can hardly guess half the people there earn their income by the millions!

anyway we got tired of karaok-ing and went to mingle (: ended up with beer and talking bout anything under the sun with the close friends after the not-so-close friends left. and i drank like dunnohowmany cans of beer lah! thanks to mummy dearest who kept swapping her cup with mine cause she didnt want to drink beer -.- ended up red and drunk -.-

until now i still can't believe we can shout out: PROM HAPPENED!

zomg like after almost 9months of slogging our asses off and worrying consistently plus the thousand and one scares of cancelling prom due to things like bad response, terms&conditions, school matters etc, PROM ACTUALLY HAPPENED :D and super smoothly too (:

day started off with a cab ride over to anthea's place to prep for grad night! went over to the salon to do our hair and the person took superrr long to do the curls and what not. cabbed back to an's house and did makeup + put on dress + accessorized ourselves silly before cabbing down to st. james!

comm went into st james first to do last min hurrying stuffs and i sneaked anthea in too xD hehe! did a lot of panicking + getting ready and realised we were super late on schedule + we lost the top prize mp3! anyway we decided that it was time to start, mp3 or not so we did a prayer first! the whole comm + senior high scs too :D super cool! could really feel God there with us!

and guess what after praying and more praying, god found the mp3 for us :) hehe! SEE DANIEL! told u to pray harder right :) god answers prayers ;) we finally let the people in and the party started :)) super super cool but me and cheong were like running around half the time to make sure programme went well, made changes, took food, made sure teachers were having fun :) but no worries! we had our own fair share of fun through sabo-ing + camwhoring :D:D:D:D

the whole place was like rocking with year4s crazy as ever! and seriously, prom showed the world how cool our batch and school is! anyone who was there ytd would've thought twice before saying dhs is uncool okay! because if you stare at the 250 people in st james ytd, you'd agree we're an awesome batch! :) you had people soaking in spirit + spontaniety on stage rocking the house down! especially the titles, where you see spontaneous people doing their stuff and just giving everyone a good laugh :))

and thanks to st james we had 10mins extra on the dance floor with rocking lightings + wacky music to shake to! omg everyone just went nuts and prom ended even better than expected! think the best part was how the whole comm went on stage, felt sooooo good to see that our hardwork was right in front of us, seeing what we imagine playing in real life! :D

oh gosh, just had a whole lotta fun with clique, class, girlfriends cindy yian simin eli and prom comm ytd! and thank goodness i ran fast enough during couple game and thanks to eleanor and gang for hiding me :D:D:D

anyway here's a shoutout to all year 4s: A HUGE THANKS for coming to the prom :) our batch is the absoluteeee best :D:D:D no doubt!

to teachers: thanks for everything, meant a whole lot to us!

and to prom comm: love you all to the end of the world!

prom's had me reaching home at super late hours with ytd 12plus 1 being record so far. im so gonna turn up at prom resembling a panda in a dress luh!

met ra at aljunied before collecting the promcommtees which looked FAB btw :D super nice! but a high price to pay for that too xD cabbed down to her house to grab the mountain of logistics camping there and cabbed to hostel to begin the doorgifts marathon! did super monotonous repetitive job with lich + siswo + jyz and had us saying we'd nvr wanna be factory workers! seriously! but cant reveal too much till prom's over (: shan't spoil the surprise.

comm cabbed down to st.james with 2 amplifiers in 2 cabs and went to meet the band for soundcheck, which got called off due to miscommunication. lingered at stjames for quite some time and settled everything before heading to vivo for dinner! and after an entertaining debate we ended up at subway with 4/5 of us having tuna :D:D:D hahaha! & soph should seriously be their spokesperson! :)

went back to hostel with lich ra to finsh packing the stuff and stayed till like 11plus 12! and mr yeo gave us a ride home. but smartiepants lich had to lose her way and took us forever to reach pasirris going past airport and changi! yes! super lost xD but thank goodness a call to aunt&uncle saved us some sleep :D

finally reached home half dead!

commencement today was alright, no tears though. and didnt feel like a proper graduation with the knowing that next year we'll see each other, other than 4A! went up to get certs like three times. first time before i went up mr tay came suddenly and was like EYY JIAHUI and i turned and ended up looking real blur instead of going to mr sng and as i walk to mr sng, mr leong had to say SMILE LEH. mr sng said OH JIAHUI :) congratulations! and there were some weird loud untruth noises and he went WHATS THAT? and i smiled and walked off -.- super embarrassing la! and IT'S NOT TRUE. the second time mr sng went HAHA congratulations AGAIN well done. and the third he went HAHA im so proud of you keep it up and i went THANK YOU FOR THE THIRD TIME. LOL

grabbed some food, 2A photo, LOADS of prom comm photos and mad rushed to get last min prom stuff before doing confusing accounts with mdm loh. was sooo tired thank goodness for mr tan js's ride home! (:

i'm probably gonna end up late tmr and yawn through prom work session but i can't fall asleep! even though im super tired and leg's hurting due to the excessive shopping today!

met ra at parkway today after we pulled ourselves out of bed at a heavenly hour of 11+ xD that's probably why clique always approximeet! cause we can never wake up :D and ra was LATE! and that led to starbucks treat hehe! walked around a bit to attempt to get the top prize for lucky draw but couldnt find what we wanted! so in the end daniel got the one he saw over at his side (: pasta mania lunch with pasta and backed rice shared between! haha, cheesy streakkkk!

made a few phone calls, loads of funny faces, tons of sms-es over lunch and we finally finished the food wanting to go boxing or something. went round parkway to grab stuff for logistics. walked over to popular and stayed there for the longest time ever while lugging two black boards (yes wth were we doing with that right) and grabbed everything we needed but weren't supposed to be buying. (if you get what i mean) and got the stickers in like 2mins. which was a really long time, a whole 120seconds. super tough.

cabbed down to vivo cause we were struggling (i wonder why) with all the logistics. walked into a dozen make up/cosmetic stores before descending into THE FACE SHOP. praise the lord it had what we wanted! so got the stuffs, customized to fit :D then covered most of vivo bottom up, top down and got everything we wanted! legs were like dying and patience was running out too! but at least we managed to keep ourbestfriend outta the conversation to keep the smiles on our faces :D well at least managed to spend time with ra (: have been like seeing her for god-knows how many days and how many hours!

dinner-ed at carl's junior. gobbled down the cheesy beef fries or wdv while ra had her dinner and 3G-ed her mum with my phone and being entertaining xD

& there's like a mountain more work to do tmr! with packing and what not! but at least we managed to finish the logistics stuff by today! we're such great shoppers arent we ra! hahaha wedding planners eh? :)

gonna go try sleeping now so i wouldnt be THAT late tmr and end up treating starbucks =/ haha! cant wait to see the shirts though!

p.s reading bout forgiveness in bible i know what God really wants us to do now is to love more than ever, to turn the other cheek, to embrace, but with what happened today, it's tough. but with God's grace and help, im sure we can overcome those dumb attitudes, freaking pissifying character and silly+childish ethics. and im gonna try hard to forgive and embrace the insecurity and irresponsibility, cause thats what God wants me to do and i want her to receive God's love. do it in God's glory (:

shopping marathon

had one whole day of shopping and more shopping on friday! met ra and sophia at parkway and started our day of shopping for prom gifts/ prizes and more! went from parkway to city hall to citylink to marina back to citylink to cityhall then back to citylink to marina square and finally back to citylink to cityhall to home.

yes, maybe that's why we were all dying of leg aches and what not. especially cho, who joined us after training xD looking unglam huh. well at least we managed to work in some fun in the whole shopping escapade :D and managed to strike off quite a bit of stuff on the list too! and spent quality time tgt (:

for now, it's crazy chionging to get things done before the big 14nov =/ and awaiting commencement to officially end off junior high days... plus usa trip with family awaiting dec :D

life hasnt been exactly whipped cream with a cherry on top these days and ive had my fair share of downs and more downs. but amidst the stuff which makes the heart drop a hundred storeys, some stuff have had put a smile or a little punch in the air of joy (: such as NO MORE CHINESE PAPERS EVER! that is provided i secure a pass in the hcl o lvls :D which turned out to be a notch easier than the usual killers we were drowning in! at least for once, i understood the passages and didnt have to attempt to stop falling asleep!

been to sc camp last day and joined IA for street chase =) was pretty fun but street chase seemed to have metamorphed into something so leisure it makes us wonder where's the chase. but i suppose the weather already set the stage for a strolling-kinda-chase. and besides, people change and styles change. and council changed too, quite a bit at that. and chatting with the oldies we realised how much we all enjoyed and missed our yr2 council experiences and the yr3 days (: with baojia and all, council was a more hyped up, loud and filled with crazily bold ideas then. it has toned down a whole bit though.

went back late with seeting liangwei yusiang egan and guppy. was super tired and thank god, momsie's friend auntie lucy picked me up from kembangan (:

been thinking alot lately and have been trying to make up my mind. and the question still lies, if the head says no, but the heart says yes. where should one go?

just a quickie before diving into the pile of chinese notes shooting daggers at me. yeah still wondering how on earth can kang mug for higher chinese huh? haha anyone can mug for chinese when you have liulaoshi (: who is about the best chinese tcher you can get already! and armed with her one-year worth of notes, even I feel confident bout passing the o's this wed!

anyway, just back from crashing sc camp with amanda :D met weijie, yx, karmen, xq in school and saw eli taitai! and cho. it was super nice to see the dearies juniors at camp (: and with today, i've finally realised that i have unknowingly let go. like months back i was still wondering if i could ever let go. and today watching the whole camp progress, i actually felt outside. like no longer wanting to jump in action, no longer missing the whole experience. more of watching and remembering our own little moments (: feels so good to have let go :D

and right now, im gonna shake hands with chinese :)
& finally found something to look forward to in USA- peppermint buck or however you spell it.

oh gosh, life's been a whirl lately and i can't believe it's actually happening to me! sighsigh! but thanks a whole truckload to friends who've been unbelivable pillars of support!

anyway, shocking things aside, life after school is unsurprisingly slack and laidback! and the whole "ohhmyyyy junior high ended" feelings are fading away. guess with higher chinese o's and commencement and prom, nothing feels that sad yet.

been out shopping with mummy dearest and also besties and i got my prom dress! nothing spectacular and it was more of my mum's choice. have noooo idea why but i was like not hyped up bout choosing the dress, prob cause of everything that happened. anyhow, at least i have one less thing to worry bout, striking prom dress off the to-do list!

day out with bestie cindy, simin, eliz and yian was super good! like the hilarious chat at cafe cartel to the loooonnnnggg shopping trip thereafter plus the crazy screams and throwface situations at the dressing rooms where the girls tried on dresses was just what i needed!

anyway thanks a whole lot to tlc! i finally unds what you feel lah!

going round other's blogs seems to ring an alarm that goes :FINAL DAYS IN JUNIOR HIGH and it really scares me to think how JC days are already within reach =/

and leads to the burning question: how the hell did 4 years pass by that quickly!

can still rmr imagining in yr 1 how happy i would be on the day they let us noe our year 4 result slip cause it would mean i survived junior high, and now that i am here, how come i dont seem as happy as i thought i'd be.

now that it's come so far, the hopes change, the wishes change, i want more time. juniorhigh feels unfinished, the need for more time with the people, living the jh culture, reluctant to go on to a whole new level.

but seniorhigh sounds exciting, happening, and perhaps a tad too happening. like suddenly decisions seem to have a life-long impact and we're suddenly free to choose our life paths. it's not as simple as take and seehow but rather a take and live with it. a simple online procedure which marks out your career, choices which closes doors.

oh gosh, 2 more days with 4K and that's it.
2 more days and thats the end of secondary school.

it's a huge phase. a huge leap,
and in 2days time secondary school is your history

well on a positive note, it's a happy 3.8 end. (= god's grace!
but it's still the end.

if it's like this now, i wonder how i'll ever survive graduating from JC,
in tears perhaps.

seems like everyone's been down to thinking in a way or another bout subject combi for yr 5, ccas and H2s or H1s and the list goes on and i've been swept into the whole tornado of indecisions. yes, nobody seems to be spared, unless you're one of the people who has decided since you were 3 that you really wanna be a dentist or something. then they'd probably be super sure of what they want.

sighsigh, still stuck between HCME and PCME with H being history (: dont mind either and thats the problem. if i hated physics or something life would be so much more concrete! but i think i'd probably end up with HCME, or in mabel's language- CMEH -.-

and the gang's been chatting up (kinda) bout running for council next year and if you're thinking of running, you can prob strike off 8 outta 11 of us off your "fellow sc" list :( there goes hoping to work our asses off with them. i've been up and about thinking too and i have no idea why half the world thinks im gonna run next year (eventually). maybe my worlds small or something but i seriously have no idea if im gonna run. and the two guys counterparts definite no-no has not helped either! seriously, spoil the trinity and half the fun's gone! :( so i guess as of now, it's a no for me too, but we shall see how things turn out next year...

a part of me would probably really miss the experience
but a part of me wants a new one.

so much have been happening in life! im gonna attempt to blog about everything in chronological order :D

saturday

headed over to cityhall in the afternoon for a meeting with the president of AIESEC singapore to smoothen out the details as well as to get ideas on how our own society in school can function. but meeting was pushed back 1hour plus so ended up going to party city and choosing balloons with ra (: walked around a bit in prints before meeting mayas. had a brief chat on the way to SMU and got some really cool ideas on what we can/need to do!

rushed back home to bathe and change before going to shangri-la hotel to celebrate daddys bday one day in advance cause he was flying off the next day! and the food was superbly delicious and there was soooo much food you wouldnt noe what to take. think the place was called The Line and the buffet was nicenicenice! fresh lobsters, prawns, crabs, cheese, salad stuff for appetisers! then there was like local, western, indian food! not forgetting italian where there was a chef to cook pasta on request! all the food were like freshly made on the spot with chefs everywhere at different stations roasting satays, cooking noodles on request!

desert was the absolute bomb! with a crepe chef where u could choose toppings, an elaborate chocolate fountain, SWEET CABINET, icecream mixed for you specially, and a whole range of other stuff!

the sweet cabinet was super wow! you noe those kind in mini toons where u pick and then weigh the sweets! they have a whole cabinet there for you to choose and take BUFFET STYLE LOL! it really did please the kids! xD and the ice cream u could choose flavour(s) *note more than one* and then topping and the chef will ask u if u wanna mix. and then he'd mix ur icecream and toppings on a slab of cold stone or tabletop or something! haha like how cool is that! okay let the pics do the talking:

sunday had an early but nice start in church! :) new creation! pastor prince's sermon was super good! :D:D:D said hello to the whole spread of relatives- uncle matthew, auntie margaret, auntie shelly, auntie eileen, didn't see auntie geraldine though, and uncle raymond's over at the other church, so yeap.

headed to vivo with mummy and bro afterthat to walk abit and got a whole spread of marks&spencer goodies before going to gran's house :D and hitched a ride home from uncle jordan!

monday had lessons where i barely stayed awake and then met up with cindy and yi'an! :D bestie huh! :D:D:D haha like a random decision to sms the two girls and meet up for lunch! went to pizza place at city hall for delicious baked rice before going round to get present! (: had so much fun with those two! pics on cindy's lj :))

haha all these fun really help divert the thoughts somewhere fun!

just msn-ed cho and i guess it felt good to spill the stuffs, even if it's via shortcut words across the globe but still. didn't say out everything though, just not right to go round spoiling her mood in china i guess. not that she'd be affected or anything but it just seems wrong to spill all the crap to her when she's in china and heard fel's emo-ing or something :( so i can't seem to go make fel sadder too!

anyway thank goodness for someone else who understands, who's in singapore. but it doesnt seem exactly alright to bitch with a guy, what more someone with a name who can create a stir but it's good to know someone feels the same.

and dont exactly wanna bother clique with 2 in china, 1 with dramatic replays of her own and the other with other friends in need.

so im down to me and god.

oh gosh, my world feels super empty sometimes.

okay no worries though, im just fine still. just really missing the chos and the fels who keeps me going and who actually probably understand what's up.
